Wilderness & Remote First Aid & CPR
North Coast Adventure Centers team members are AUTHORIZED PROVIDERS for the Red Cross in Humboldt (CA), Southern Oregon, Northeastern California, and Las Vegas, Nevada.
First Aid and CPR: This comprehensive course includes: Adult and Child CPR, rescue breathing, choking rescue, and first aid skills including treatment of burns, fractures, sprains, seizures, bleeding control, sudden illness, injuries, poisoning, heat and cold emergencies. Upon successful completion of hands on skills demonstration and multiple choice test, you will receive a Red Cross Adult & Child CPR certification valid for 1 year and a Standard First Aid certification valid for 3 years.
Wilderness & Remote First Aid: This course was developed for people who spend time in remote areas that are hours or days away from the nearest medical services. Course emphasis will be demonstrating the practical skills and decision making of how to handle an emergency situation that may include any of the aforementioned topics from standard first and CPR when help is delayed.

*Please note, cancellations prior to 14 days of the training will be refunded all moneys paid less a $20 handling fee. Cancellations between 3 and 14 days before the training will forfeit their deposit (50%). Cancellations less than 3 days before the training will forfeit the full price of the training.
