Redwood Canopy Tours, Crescent City

Come learn about the redwood forest and experience it from a new perspective

This Canopy Tour is part of Sunset High School's Vocational Training Program.  Students will be available to lead tours in the Spring, during afternoons, and during the summer on Friday and Saturdays.

Join North Coast Adventure Centers at Sunset High School for a Canopy Tour 70 feet up in the redwoods of the North Coast.  This tour is in Crescent City, CA.

You will start on the ground learning terms and techniques needed to safely maneuver through the canopy. After the training is completed the next challenge will be to ascend up into the redwoods and ride a series of four ziplines through the canopy.  You and your partner will be transfering between wires with our guides supervising.  Our trained guides run tours with participants over 12 years old and 5 feet tall.  Climbing, zipping, and rappelling through the trees will help you appreciate their power and beauty.  Tours run around 3 hours long, depending on the number of participants.
